Bruna Singh
Bruna Singh is a doctoral candidate in the International Doctorate Program in Business and Human Rights: Governance Challenges in a Complex World at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Her research focuses on the concept of leverage within the business and human rights framework. During her studies at FAU, Bruna co-founded the FAU Human Rights and Business Clinic, now integrated into the CHREN Human Rights Clinic, where she is currently a co-coordinator and leads research-driven advocacy projects for international organizations. She is also a member of the Business and Human Rights Scholars Association and the Teaching Business and Human Rights Forum.
Before joining her doctoral program, Bruna worked with a Business & Human Rights and ESG consultancy in Brazil, contributing to projects in the mining and agricultural sectors. Her professional and academic experience spans migration, the Inter-American human rights system, women’s rights, and business and human rights. Bruna holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University Centre Curitiba (Brazil, 2015) and a master’s degree in Human Rights and International Politics from the University of Glasgow (UK, 2018), where she attended as a Chevening Scholar.
